Welcome to the Peach Fuzz!

Dear Coach:

Welcome back to the 2024-25 school year. We hope you are as excited as we are about the coming forensics season! To get the season rolling, the Carrollton High School Speech and Debate Team invites you to the Peach Fuzz Speech and Debate Tournament to be held virtually at Carrollton High School. Please join us for competition and fun on September 7, 2024.

We have designed this tournament to be a learning experience for our beginning debaters, speakers, and coaches. We encourage oral critiques that are supportive and motivating. Judges should give the debater time for questions and answers to ensure a positive learning experience for the beginning debater.

We are offering the following events:

Saturday 8:30 a.m - 9:00 a.m.- Registration

Saturday 9:00 a.m.- General Meeting

Saturday 9:15 a.m. - Round 1

Saturday 11:00 a.m.- Round 2

Saturday 12:30 p.m. - Lunch

Saturday 1:30 p.m. - Round 3

Saturday 3:00 p. m. Round 4

Saturday 4:30 p.m. - Awards

Each school should supply one judge for every four persons debating. One judge should be provided per five IEs. Participation is limited to four teams per debate and 6 entries in IE. Lincoln Douglas and Public Forum may not double enter. Our goal is to make the tournament one of the best possible experiences for all who attend.
