Rules & Technology:

• We follow all guidelines concerning competition set forth by the NSDA

• Should there be late decision making or changes, we will contact coaches via the phone number provided in tabroom

Divisions: World Schools, Congress, Varsity Policy, Novice Policy, JVLD, JVPF, VLD, and VPF. Novice refers to a first-year competitor, JV to a first or second-year competitor. Pools will only be collapsed if there is extremely low turnout in a category.

Resolutions: We shall follow current resolutions presented by the National Speech & Debate Association.

Judge Requirements: One judge per one to two entries or any fraction thereof for LD,PF, & CX. One judge per three entries in WSD, and one judge per five entries in congress. LD and PF judging pools will not be mixed if we can avoid it.

Tentative Schedule:

Friday: (Cong/ WSD ONLINE!!!!)

• Dinner break: Between rd 2 & 3 for worlds, and between sessions for congress

• Awards: 9pm via zoom

Saturday (LD/PF/CX)

• 7:30am: Online confirmation of entries on Tabroom

• If you have changes, please text Andie (contact below)

• 8:30am (hopefully): Round 1, all other rounds to follow

• We intend to hold 5 preliminary rounds for LD/PF, and 3 for CX

• 3:00pm (hopefully): Awards, followed by any remaining break rounds that are necessary

Concessions: We will have concessions and lunch available for purchase.

Awards: We will have some sort of awards again this year. We usually do trophies for both speaker and placement

Fees:

• VCX/NCX: $30 per entry.

• LD/PF: $20 per entry.

• Worlds: $30 per entry
• Congress: $5 per entry

• Fees are locked as of Thursday October 10th, 2024 at 5pm, plus any fees from adding teams or missing judges.

• If you do not bring the required amount of judges, we reserve the right to either charge you $125 per missing judge or unregister your teams until you have presented enough judges to cover your obligation.

Registration: Registration deadline is Thursday, October 9th, 2024 at 5pm. Please reach out if you encounter any issues.
