Dear Colleagues,

Seven Lakes HS is proud to host the Seven Lakes Spartan Symposium on September 20-21, 2024 in person at Seven Lakes HS – 9251 S Fry Road, Katy, TX 77494.

Our tournament has excellent hospitality, with homemade food provided by the SLHS Speech and Debate Booster Club, single-flighted debate rounds, and **will** run on time.

We will offer all TFA Individual Qualifying Events, as well as Prose, Poetry, and Impromptu. We are a TFA-sanctioned tournament, a NIETOC bid tournament for all Individual Events, and a TOC bid-granting tournament in Speech events. Speech events will have 3 prelims, and any event over 25 entries will advance to semifinals. LD and PF will have 6 prelims and advance all 4-2 teams to elimination rounds.

If you have novice students interested in a low-stakes scrimmage on Friday night only, see our "Novice Night Information" on the right side of the screen. This event will include Extemporaneous Debate for students who are just starting competitive speech and debate.

We reserve the right to enter our own students at our tournament, but we do not anticipate those numbers being substantial at all.
