Fall 2024 Tournament Packet

Greetings Speech and Debate Community,

We’re excited to invite you to the Walter Cotter Classic hosted by Lassiter High School in Marietta, Georgia. Our tournament will be held in-person at Lassiter High School on November 9, 2024.

We will be offering competition in novice, jv, and open divisions of policy debate, and novice and open divisions in public forum and lincoln douglas debate. We will also offer open speech events in dramatic interpretation, humorous interpretation, program of oral interpretation, original oratory, informative, extemporaneous, and impromptu.

Important Dates

September 3, 2024 Registration Opens

October 25 @5pm Hired Judging Requests Due

November 5 @5pm New Entries Due; Fees Freeze; Judges Due

November 9 @ 7:30-8:30 On-Site Check-in

All entries must be affiliated with a school and a school-authorized adult must be accessible at all times during the tournament. Independent entries are not allowed.
