2023 Cobbler Classic

Welcome to the 2023 Cobbler Classic Tournament. We are very excited to be holding our tournament this year. We will be accepting entries as usual on a first-come basis. Four entries per event per school to start, but please put any others you have on the waitlist and we will take them as we can. Usually, all waitlist entries are accepted.

Registration

Registration will occur from 8:00 am - 8:30 am on Saturday, January 20th

Please have your initial entries in by Tuesday, January 16, 2022.

We ask that you have names entered and entries finalized by Tuesday, Jan 16, 2023. We will freeze the fees on Thursday, Jan 18, 2022.

Debate Events: Lincoln Douglas, Public Forum

Speech Events: Humor, Original Oratory, Poetry, Extemp, Informative, POI, Duo Interp, Drama

Congress: Will be held during both rounds

Judging and Fees

We will be asking for schools to bring a few judges. Basically, one judge for every 10 entries. If you have debaters entered, a judge who will do some debate would be greatly appreciated.
