Welcome to Katy ISD Novice Night #3! This tournament will be hosted at Seven Lakes High School on Monday, December 4.
This tournament is only open to schools in Katy Independent School District. Any other entries will be deleted.
Topics:
PF and LD will use the November/December 2023 topics. No novice topics will be used.
PF: Resolved: The United States federal government should forgive all federal student loan debt.
LD: Resolved: The United States ought to prohibit the extraction of fossil fuels from federal public lands and waters.
WSD:
R1: Impromptu Prep @ 1621
R2: This House opposes lifetime appointments to the federal judiciary.
Congress:
Congressional Debate will be limited to the following bills from the Fall 2023 TFA Docket, and they shall be debated in this order: 12, 11, 13, 15, 14. Individual chambers are welcome to table legislation if they wish to skip it or come back to it later. All bills must have at least 1 speech in affirmation and negation before the previous question may be moved.
