Roy Miller High School Speech & Debate invites you to our annual

ROY MILLER HIGH SCHOOL TFA NIETOC QUALIFIER TOURNAMENT

"AN AFFAIR TO NOVEMBER"

The tournament will take place IN-PERSON on Saturday, November 18th at Roy Miller HS in Corpus Christi, TX at 1 Battlin Buc Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78408. This will be a ONE DAY tournament.

General Info

Section A: Domestic Extemp, Foreign Extemp, Novice Extemp, Duet Acting, Poetry, Novice Poetry

Section B: Program Oral Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, Original Oratory, Dramatic Interpretation

Section C: Humorous Interpretation, Informative Speaking, Prose, & Novice Prose

Debate: LD Debate, Congressional Debate, *CX Debate, & *PF Debate

LD and PF will use the Nov/Dec NSDA topics.

Congress will use EVEN Numbers: 21-30 in Prelims/Rd 1

Docket Order: 22, 24, 26, 28, 30

and Numbers 11-20 in Finals/Rd 2.

Docket Order: 20, 18, 16, 14, 12

*Students may only enter one debate and one type of Extemp. Students can enter any number of interp events at their own risk.*

Deadlines, fees & all other information have been uploaded to our tournament site; please peruse our tournament site for any information you might need.

Your school must have an adult sponsor/judge to be available at all times for all tournament times/rounds to judge and provide support for the tournament if/when needed.

We are excited about hosting our Texas Forensic Association Qualifying Tournament. We are also THRILLED to announce we will be NIETOC Qualifier this year!
