Snyder High School would like to invite you to compete at our TFA tournament.

Our tournament will be hosted at Snyder High School. Our booster club will have a concession stand open for competitors that will have meal deals, snacks, and drinks. We will have a hospitality room for coaches and judges with food and refreshments.

All debate will be solo (Congress, LD, PF, and CX)

We will NOT break brackets in debate out-rounds.

IEs will be allowed to cross-enter at will but must do so at their own risk. Ballots will NOT be held for students who are over-extended and do not make their rounds on time.

Out-rounds will be paneled only if enough judges are available.

Judges:

We will have judging fees based on entries, but we would much rather have you bring judges than take your money! We will be recruiting volunteer judges and hiring as needed as well. Coaches will be the last to be used, but please be available if needed.

Topics:

Congress: TFA Fall Legislation. Prelims will use items 29, 30, 26, 27, and 28. Finals will use items 21-25.

CX/Policy:Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase fiscal redistribution in the United States by adopting a federal jobs guarantee, expanding Social Security, and/or providing a basic income.
