RCHS Scrimmage
2023 — Richmond, VA/US
Richmond Community High School Scrimmage
Richmond Community High School (RCHS) is proud to host an in-person speech and debate scrimmage on Thursday, October 19th, 5:30—8:00pm, at RCHS (201 E. Brookland Park Blvd). Our scrimmage will be a quick exhibition where students will be able to compete in various VHSL categories of speech and debate. While we will not declare overall “winners” at this scrimmage, participants and coaches will get feedback on the ballots. This is a particularly good opportunity for students newer to speech and debate. This is also an excellent opportunity for judge training!
The Topics are as follows:

Resolved: The United States ought to guarantee the right to housing.
Public Forum
Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its military presence in the Arctic.
