Your School CFL Membership must be completed in order to attend this tournament.

Entries and Judges are due Oct. 19, 2023.

Entries will be taken off the waitlist after your school has fulfilled its judging obligation. 1 Judge for every 4 entries. Unaffiliated judges will cover 12 entries. Please email JHarris@mitty.com If you have unaffiliated judges.

Health & Wellness

If you’re feeling sick, CFL strongly prefers that you not attend the tournament to protect other participants, including people who are immunocompromised and/or live with others who are immunocompromised. Although proof of vaccination and/or masking are not required by CFL, masks will be provided at the tournament for those who wish to wear them. No participant will be penalized for wearing/not wearing a mask; and all participants should respect each other’s health & wellness preferences, including (but not limited to) masking and social distancing.

Tentative Schedule

Registration:

7:30 – 7:50 a.m. Coaches must check in at the tabroom to confirm entries / provide contact information to ensure they’re available all day
Extemp should report to the Extemp Prep room for instructions by 7:45am.
All other students should be checking tabroom / looking for email updates.

Round 1
8:30am - 10:00am

Extemp prep begins at 8:00am

Round 2
10:30am - 12:00pm

Extemp prep begins at 10:15am

Lunch
12:00pm - 1:00pm

PM Shift Judges should report to the Library for instructions.

Round 3
1:30pm - 3:00pm

Extemp prep begins at 1:00pm

Breaks / Round 4

3:30pm - 5:00pm

Extemp Prep begins at 3:15pm

Live Awards
~6:00pm

Awards will begin as soon as round 4 ballots allow.
