DIVISIONS

We’ll be offering Novice and Varsity policy debate, and JV and Varsity Lincoln-Douglas/Public Forum debate. Please remember that Novice means first year of debate and JV refers to the first two years of debate. Divisions may be collapsed based on number of entries. We will follow all WDCA rules, procedures, and evidence guidelines.

TOPICS

POLICY – Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase fiscal redistribution in the United States by adopting a federal jobs guarantee, expanding Social Security, and/or providing a basic income.

LD – Resolved: The United States ought to prohibit the extraction of fossil fuels from federal public lands and waters.

PF – Resolved: The United States federal government should forgive all federal student loan debt.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

Registration will start at 7:30AM. Please check in online. Alternatively, If a text at (414)702-8678 is not received by tab from you by 8:15, your teams will be dropped from the system.

JUDGES:

Schools must bring one judge for every two NCX/VCX/PF/LD teams registered or fraction thereof. You will be charged $125 for each missing judge. The PF and LD pools are NOT combined. Please link your judges to Tabroom.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:

Registration will be through tabroom.com. The registration deadline is Thursday, December 8^th at 8pm. If you have adds after the deadline, e-mail umstotd@elmbrookschools.org.

FEE SCHEDULE:

NSS/VSS/PF - $35 LD - $20

Fees will be frozen on Thursday, December 7^th at 8pm. At this point, you are still responsible for any drops and judging obligations.
