Howdy, all!

Permian High School in beautiful Odessa, TX warmly invites you to the 1st Annual MOJO Throwdown! Our friends at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin are graciously hosting us on their campus. We have plans open up the cafeteria/cafes on campus and provide wonderful food in hospitality for coaches and judges.

If you plan on coming in Friday and staying the night, the MCM Elegante (right adjacent to UTPB) is offering rooms at 80/night. Friday night Permian's football team will be in Killeen, but our sister school Odessa High will be playing Amarillo High at historic Ratliff Stadium which should be a fun game to watch. We also have great places for dinner and places to explore, including the UTPB campus.

Please come join us for a day of great competition, engaging performances, West Texas hospitality (and prices), and an experience you and your team will enjoy!

Judges: We will try our best to hire judges and recruit volunteers but schools will be expected to bring at lease one judge.

Congress: Prelims will use items 6-10. Finals will use items 1-5.

2:00-3:30- Semis/Fin A, Semi/Final C

3:30-5:00- Semis/Fin B, Finals C

5:00-6:00- Finals A

6:00-7:00- Finals B

Fees:

IE/Congress; $15/competitor

LD/Public Forum; $20/competitor

CX; $30/team

Judge fees; $50 each section. 4 entries in congress, two debate entries, three IE entries.
