We run speech rounds as fast as we can so it’s not recommended to have students compete in the academic side of the meet. CX debaters cannot enter other events. Poetry/prose/LD can enter informative/persuasive.

We are offering all UIL events except computer apps, computer science & congress. Contact ltheuret@kenedyisd.com for an academic entry form. We will use UIL Set A materials & have plaques for Overall Champion, Runner Up, Journalism & Speech teams as well as medals for 1st through 3rd and ribbons for 4th through 6th place.

We hire judges for journalism & ready writing--those entries are done on your campus earlier in the week & scanned to me by Thursday so that results are ready on Saturday. No awards or tests/entries will be mailed.
