Young Genius Association is excited to host a Congressional Debate tournament for Elementary, Middle, and High School students. We are one of few organizations that coordinate tournaments for younger competitors, and we invite all Congressional Debaters in the 3rd through 12th grades to attend!

NEW THIS SUMMER: Students have the option to sign up for one, two, or all three rounds of competition based on the legislation they are prepared to debate.

Elementary and Middle/High School students will compete in different divisions.

Cost - $20 per round

8:00 - 9:00 AM • Mandatory Judge Check-In/Training

9:00 - 9:15 AM • Tournament Welcome

9:30 - 10:45 AM • Topic #1 for all levels of Congress

10:45 - 11:00 AM • Break

11:00 AM - 12:15 PM • Topic #2 for all levels of Congress

12:15 - 12:45 PM • Break

12:45 - 2:00 PM • Topic #3 for all levels of Congress

2:00- 2:15 PM • Break

2:30 PM • Awards Ceremony

Please note: We STRONGLY encourage students to get up from their computers to stretch their legs and rest their eyes in between rounds!
