On Sept 23, Jesuit Dallas will host a 3 round novice scrimmage for most debate events. Our goal is for your new novices to have a low stakes, food filled first experience with an in person tournament.

We will have policy, LD, Worlds, and PF divisions as long as there are at least 6 entries in a division.

Novice Policy will follow the rollout schedule that Region 2 tournaments will follow - see Novice Policy Page

We will require that schools provide judging to cover their entries - your judging can include junior or senior debaters as well as coaches.

We will provide a light breakfast, a boxed lunch and snacks for everyone - and fees will reflect our cost for food - so we are asking for $10 per person in your entourage.

We will be as flexible as possible on entries - and just ask that if you think you might have some entries, that you let us know - and final numbers of entries along with competitors' and judges' names will be due end of day on Sept 20th.
