NSDA WSD Scrimmage

2023 — Online, FL/US

Welcome to the NSDA WSD Scrimmage.

This tournament asks for a $5 donation fee, however this fee may be waived. If you would like the fee waived, please email me at the address below.

There are times where finding World School Debate teams for nationals are very hard to come by to practice, so instead, we've decided to do things differently. This is our way of doing WSD, and this is your way of getting into a good way to practice for Nationals. We will only be offering World School Debate for this scrimmage, and the first two pieces bills for World School Debate at NSDA Nationals. We will be utilizing the WSDC Unified Manual, and everything will follow NSDA round procedure.

All rounds will be held in a Zoom call, with the rounds being held in breakout rooms. You will receive your invite to the Zoom twenty-four (24) hours before the first start time. If you have any questions, you can email the tournament director, AmandaLesly Miranda, at Mandawritesall@gmail.com (please put the tournament name in the subject line).

We are trying to make sure all WSD teams get the practice that they need, and we encourage you to invite them along, as well as send over any extra judges that may be interested in judging as we do not want to fall short on judges, accidentally.ALL JUDGING IS VOLUNTEER AND YOU WILL NOT BE PAID UNLESS PAID BY A SCHOOL TO FILL A JUDGING SPOT
