Join Young Genius, Bay Area Speech and Debate Academy for the End of the School Year In-Person and Online Speech Tournament and Celebration.

There will be a mandatory judge training held on Zoom on Thursday, May 25, from 7-8pm. Log-in information will be sent closer to the date.

This tournament will take place at 20900 Stevens Creek Blvd, Cupertino, CA.

Online - For competitors who are unable to attend in person, you can also participate -- you can submit a video recording of your speech! Only for prepared speech divisions: Persuasive and Expository.

The tournament will offer 3 divisions:

2-3rd Grade
Pattern A: Persuasive Speech (available in-person and online)

4-5th Grade
Pattern A: SPAR, Impromptu, Extemporaneous
Pattern B: Persuasive, Expository (available in-person and online)

6-8th Grade
Pattern A: SPAR, Impromptu, Extemporaneous
Pattern B: Persuasive, Expository

(Persuasive and Expository events are available in-person and online.)

Students are welcome and encouraged to register for multiple speech events.

Registration for this tournament is open for all student competitors from across the country and the globe.

As this is an end-of-the-year celebration, all competitors, chaperones, and judges will be provided with complimentary pizza lunch and snacks.
