Ore City High School cordially invites you to our first Online UIL Springboard speech and debate scrimmage. This UIL speech and academic meet will be held on NSDA campus and will utilize an online format.

EVENTS: All UIL speech & debate will be held on contest day!

REGISTRATION: Please register at www.tabroom.com for speech and debate and journalism events.

DEADLINES: All entries are due online the day before

JUDGING: You must supply a judge for every event in which your school is entered. If you do not provide a grader/judge your students will not be graded.

For debate,

1 judge for every 4 LD contestants

1 judge for every two CX teams or part thereof

1 judge for every 6 Prose/Poetry/Extemp/Congress Contestants

AT MINIMUM, speech/debate team coaches MUST serve as judges

ENTRY FEES:

The goal is to create an online practice format for schools that otherwise would not have access to it. The goal here is to model the NSDA Springboard format for schools that are more focused on UIL speech and debate events. I want to host one practice round for the UIL schools who want a little additional practice that otherwise could not get round(s) before the district tournament.
