Hello everyone,

We will use the APRIL PF resolution on BIOMETICS.

Limit 6 teams per school.

Teams may enter a maverick. Each school is only allowed one maverick.

We will use the NSDA Campus system.

Provide one adult judge for every 2 PF teams. I do not have any hired judges. Please make sure that your judges and students know how to use NSDA Campus. I can provide basic assistance for Campus, but many tech issues are beyond my knowledge. For these, it is up to the coach and students to fix the issue.

For judges, please make sure that they know how to access the ballot. I can provide some assistance, but I’m running this event by myself while getting my students set up for roudns as well.

No entry fees.

I will offer 2 divisions. Middle school students are welcome to enter. Students may always debate “up” to a higher division but may not debate “down” in a division if they don’t not quality. Partnerships that have a student that debates in the advanced division must enter in the advanced division even if their partner is a new student. A beginner division for brand new students in their first year of debate or any student in Middle School.

An advanced division for any student that has more than 1 year of experience.

No coinflips, pro will speak first.

For awards, medals will be sent out to the top 3 speakers and the top three teams in each division. Each debater of the top team in each division will also receive a $20 Amazon gift card.

The schedule is below. We will run 3 rounds. Results will be published online after the tournament. There will not be an awards ceremony.

Teams check in from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AN Eastern. We will use the Tabroom Online Check-In system.

Round 1 blast at 9:45 AM Eastern

Round 1 start at 10:00 AM Eastern

Round 2 blast at 11:15 AM Eastern

Round 2 start at 11:30 AM Eastern

Round 3 will blast at 1:15 PM Eastern

Round 3 will start at 1:30 PM Eastern

All ballots should be in by 2:45 PM Eastern
