In cooperation with Cal-State Northridge, Arizona State University, and Fullerton College the Trojan Debate Squad invites you to the Spring TDS Intramural Scrimmage to be held Saturday April 8, 2023.

Fees

This event is free to participants. Since there are no fees, schools are expected to cover their judging obligations. Additional fees will be incurred for hired judges.

Topic, Format, Tabulation

There will be two divisions: Policy Debate and Public Forum Debate.

The policy division will debate the 2022-23 NDT-CEDA debate topic. We will have three preset debates. Each team will have three unique opponents.

The public forum division will debate the spring 2023 CPFL debate topic. We will have three preset debates. The top two seed will advance to a final.

Schedule

Round 1: 10:00-11:00 am

Round 2: 11:00am-12:00 pm

Lunch: 12:00-1:15 pm

Round 3: 1:15-2:15 pm

Final Round 2:15-3:15 pm

Awards Ceremony: 3:15-3:30 pm
