NSDA Canada National Qualifier Big Questions

BL Education Consulting. Ltd. in conjunction with the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) is thrilled to host the inaugural Big Questions National Qualifying Debate Tournament. This opportunity will allow high school students the opportunity to qualify for NSDA Nationals in Arizona, USA (June 11-16, 2023) as part of the NSDA Canada team. This year's resolution:
Resolved: Human beings are primarily driven by self-interest.
Middle school students are invited to compete in their own division and will be eligible to attend the Middle School National Tournament in June as well. Please see the qualifications HERE.
Big Questions Debate:
About Big Questions DebateBig QuestionsDebate is a debate format that allows students to debate with a partner or as an individual. Debates may be one-on-one, two-on-two, or two-on-one. Topics last all year andconcern the intersection of science, philosophy, and religion. Students are assigned a side of the topic before each round and present cases, engage in rebuttal and refutation, and participate in a question period. Big Questions is supported by the John Templeton Foundation.
