Extemporaneous

20 minute preparation time to present a 4 minute speech answering a question about current events. Students may have access articles and evidence gathered prior to the contest, but they may not use the internet during preparation. Topics will be: international relations, current inventions and economics.

Original Oratory

Students present a memorized 6-8 minute speech on a persuasive topic.
