Hello!

Stratford Milpitas and Blackford Prep will be hosting a practice tournament for Public Forum and Lincoln Douglas debaters. Please note we are only registering Stratford School debaters for this mini tournament. We hope to host an in person tournament later in the school year that is open for all debate league in the Bay Area.

The tournament will be online through the NSDA campus and on Saturday, February 24th. We will be using the following topics:
Lincoln Douglas: 2024 March/April Topic Resolved: The primary objective of the United States criminal justice system ought to be rehabilitation.

Public Forum Debate – 2024 March Topic Resolved: In the United States, collegiate student-athletes should be classified as employees of their educational institution.

Public Forum Debate – 2024 February Topic Resolved: The United States federal government should ban single-use plastics
