8:30AM: Check-in and caucusing

9:00AM-12:00PM: Prelim Round One

1:00PM-4:00PM: Prelim Round Two

4:30PM- Awards (NO FINALS)


All registered schools need to recruit unaffiliated judges and/or parliamentarians. All judges

must be linked in Tabroom and added to the judging pool in Tabroom. Schools are required to supply

one judge for every 12 entries. CCPS students will be allowed to compete and place.


Deadline: Wednesday, January 4th, at 5:00 pm.

Registration Process:

There will be novice and varsity/open divisions. No entry limit. Novice is defined as a student never

having competed in speech, debate, or congressional debate before the current year.

Note: if either of these divisions has fewer than 15 participants, or if either of these divisions has

representation from fewer than three schools, the divisions will collapse into a single division.

$10.00 entry fee per student.

If a student drops from the tournament, they will be charged $10.00.


Deadline to submit: Friday, December 30th at 5:00 pm.

Docket will be emailed to schools by Monday, January 2nd.

Maximum submission: Two pieces of legislation per school. Frivolous or poorly formatted legislation will be refused.
