Dear Colleagues,

Westwood High School cordially invites you and your UIL Academic teams to compete in the 2023 Westwood UIL Academic Invitational.

With the UIL District, Regional, and State competitions right around the corner, this competition offers an excellent opportunity for schools to get in one last practice meet before the end of the UIL invitational contest season.

Contests and Materials

We offer all UIL Academic and Speech and Debate events. Testing materials will be provided by HEXCO, TMSCA, ASW Enterprises, and A+ Computer Science.

Entry Fees

$40 Cross Examination Debate

$25 Lincoln Douglas Debate

$15 Computer Science (includes Written and Hands-on)

$10 All other events

Registration

All entries must be made on Tabroom.com (https://westwooduil.tabroom.com). Faxed or mailed entries will not be accepted. Proof of payment or check must be submitted on or before the day of the tournament. Each year we do reach full capacity in most of our events, so please do not wait until the last minute to enter your entries.

Amenities

Sponsors and school coaches will have complimentary access to one of the best hospitality lounges in Central Texas. Students may purchase reasonably priced concessions in the cafeteria while they wait for awards and results to be announced as soon as verification is complete. This "rolling announcement" should ensure that the tournament runs on time.
