Hello and welcome to the 2023 Birch Run Invitational!

We will be following MIFA guidelines for all events.

SCHOOL REGISTRATION FEE is $15.00. Individual entries are $8. Duo and Duo Commentary are $10. Multiple is $15.

Tournament will be on 2/11. Entries will be due on 2/8 at 5pm. $10 drop and add fee after this date/time.

Rounds are at 9am, 10:30am, 12pm, 1:30 pm, & 3 pm

The impromptu theme for this year is: COACHES SAY THE DARNDEST THINGS

The Duo Commentary main topic is: Voices. Each round will have a sub theme concerning voices. For instance, one theme could be Prominent Voices Across the Globe.

In case of poor weather conditions or illness, registration fees are still due, as commitments for awards and such have been made.

No double entries are allowed at this tournament.

Judges are required to be there all day.

We will be giving out medals to finalists (due to supply issues) . Also, we will have 3 divisions for sweepstakes awards and trophies will be given for 1st-3rd place.

SCHEDULE

Registration: 7:15 a.m.-8:00 a.m. (enter by gymnasium at Birch Run HS)

Judge Meeting: 8:20 a.m. (choir room)

Prep begins at 8:30 a.m. (Media Center for Broadcasting & Extemp. Duo Commentary in room H102)

Prep Arrival: 8:15 a.m.

Contestant Meeting: 8:35 a.m. (HS Cafetorium)

Tabroom: HS Admin Conference Room across from the HS gym
