You and your team are invited to the Halstead High School Dragon Forensics Invitational to be held April 8. Please register online at http://halsteadhs.tabroom.com. Entries are $6 for individual events and $12 for partner events. Schools are allowed up to 20 entries but will be given extras based on space and judge availability. Because of the size of our school, we will only accept the first 20 schools to enter our tournament but we will try to accommodate everyone we can. Those outside the first 20 schools will be put on a wait-list. We will give preference to adding schools from the waitlist before allowing existing teams extra entries. Sweeps will be based on 16 entries but may be adjusted based on numbers. Each student may enter a max of two events unless the third is impromptu.

We will offer the following events unless entry levels require otherwise:

NEW THIS YEAR - Middle School Division

WE WILL ALSO HOST A MIDDLE SCHOOL FESTIVAL-STYLE DIVISION.

• ONLY students who are in 8th grade or younger may enter

• Students may enter into any event you would like them to do. They will perform three times. Instead of a rank, they will receive a “rating” for each time they perform. They may spectate during finals. Any student in this division who gets a “I” rating at any point will be recognized at the awards ceremony.

• Middle school entries are $6 per person per entry

Saturday Schedule:

Registration: 7:30 am to 8:00 am

Round one: 8:00 am to 9:30 am

Round two: 9:30 am to 11:00 am

Round three: 11:00 am to 12:30 pm

Lunch (concessions offered)

Final draw: 1:00 pm

Final round: 1:15 pm

Awards: ASAP

Final Entries are due by March 31.
