Registration: Registrations should be completed using Tabroom.com and competitions will be in person  pending no number or covid concerns.  Registration is due by Noon on Thursday, September 29th.  Adds after this time may be difficult.  All judges must have linked tabroom accounts. 

Format: 

VSS, NSS: We will do 3 rounds. Time limits are 8-3-5 with 8 minutes prep.

LD, PF: We will offer both JV and experienced divisions, if numbers warrant. Five rounds of preliminary competition. 

We reserve the right to disband any division with insufficient participation. To cleanly schedule we need a minimum of 7 teams from 4 schools in each division. 

Judges: One judge for every 2 entries (or fraction) in NCX, VCX, PF, and LD. LD and PF will have separate judging pools.  No hired judges will be available. It may be necessary to move judges between divisions. All judging will be online.  All judges must have linked tabroom accounts.

Awards: Awards will be given to the top three finishing teams Speaker awards will also be given in policy debate. 

Fees: $30 per policy or PF team and $20 per LD entry. Please make checks payable to Brookfield East Debate.

Online Check In (on tabroom) Starts- 7:00am ends by 7:30 am 

Policy:

Round 1- 8:00am 

Round 2- 10:00am 

Lunch 

Round 3- 1:15pm 

LD/PF 

Round 1-8:15am 

Round 2- 9:30am 

Round 3- 11:00am 

Lunch 

Round 4- 12:45 

Round 5- 2:15pm .

Awards at about 3:30 – sooner if we stay on time.
