Online Congressional Debate & Elementary Speech Tournament

Young Genius Association is very excited to host a Congressional Debate tournament for Elementary, Middle, and High School students. We are one of few organizations that coordinate tournaments for younger competitors, and we invite all Congressional Debaters in the 4th through 12th grades to attend!

Elementary and Middle/High School students will compete in two different divisions.

As an added competition opportunity, we are excited to offer an event for Elementary School students (2nd through 3rd grade): How-To Speech. Please see "Events and Divisions" for more information about the event.

Please note: We STRONGLY encourage students to get up from their computers to stretch their legs and rest their eyes in between rounds!

8:00 - 9:00AM • Mandatory Judge Check-In/Training

9:00 - 9:15AM • Tournament Welcome

9:30 - 10:45AM • Round 1 for all levels of Congress and Speech

10:45 - 11:15AM • Break

11:15AM - 12:30PM • Round 2 for all levels of Congress and Speech

12:30 - 1:00PM • Break

1:00 - 2:15PM • Round 3 for all levels of Congress and Speech

2:15 - 2:45PM • Break
