Dear Golden Desert Speech & Debate Coaches:

The NWCTA Speech and Debate Team is proud to invite you to the Shadow/Angel Speech and Debate Tournament to be held September 23rd and 24th at NWCTA High School (8200 W. Tropical Las Vegas, NV 89149). You will find detailed information concerning the tournament along with entry forms, legislation, and a schedule of events on the tabs to the right.

During the tournament there will be concessions set up in the cafeteria. This is an important fundraiser for our team, so please encourage your students to purchase food directly from the tournament! (Food options will run from $1 to $7 for complete meals.) Entries for the tournament will be made through tabroom.com and registration is available now. Please enter your trusted and experienced debaters for competition on Friday the 23rd for the novices to shadow, and please have them return on Saturday the 24th to act as angels and judges for the novices during their competition. Varsity members may compete in one round of debate and two rounds of speech. Novices will compete in two rounds of debate and two rounds of speech.
