Hello! DUDA is excited to host you and your students for our first High School Workshop of 2022.

If you need help in deciding what event you should register your students, consider the following:

The BEGINNER Worlds Schools division are for students who are in their first year of debate or are completely new to the activity or format.

The ADVANCED Worlds Schools division are for students who have debated at least one year in the same format or have enough experience to move to the Advanced division.

The NOVICE Policy division are for students who are in their first year of debate or are completely new to the activity or format.

The JV Policy division are for students who have debated at least one year in the same format.

The VARSITY Policy division are for students have at least one year of debate in the same format, feel comfortable debating at a higher level than JV, and understand that there are no evidence restrictions (this division uses original research).

As a reminder: It is important to make your entry as accurate as possible. Every decision we make, including DUDA staffing, food orders and bus requests, and room allocations and maintenance assistance, is based on entry numbers.  We understand that students may face unexpected conflicts, but significant changes in the 48 hours before the event make it difficult to meet student needs and provide adequate resources.
