Carroll High School Speech & Debate invites you to our annual

CC CARROLL HIGH SCHOOL TFA TOURNAMENT

 "Gotta Catch that Qual!"

The tournament will take place IN-PERSON on Saturday, October 22nd at Mary Carroll HS in Corpus Christi, TX. This will be a ONE DAY tournament.

Fun Update: We have MOVED! We are located at a brand new campus at 3202 Saratoga Blvd. Corpus Christi, TX 78415.

General Info

Section A: Domestic Extemp, Foreign Extemp, Novice Extemp, Duet Acting, Poetry, Novice Poetry

Section B: Program Oral Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, Original Oratory, Dramatic Interpretation

Section C: Humorous Interpretation, Informative Speaking, Prose, & Novice Prose

Debate: LD Debate, Congressional Debate, *CX Debate, & *PF Debate

LD and PF will use the Sept/Oct topics.

Congress will use 1-10 for Prelims/Session 1 and 11-20 for Finals/Session 2.

TFA Legislation Fall 2022

*Students may only enter one debate and one type of Extemp. Students can enter any number of interp events at their own risk.*

Deadlines, fees & all other information has been uploaded to our tournament site; please peruse our tournament site for any information you might need.

Your school must have an adult sponsor/judge to be available at all times for all tournament times/rounds to judge and provide support for the tournament if/when needed.
