Nominations for the Dr. Barbara Lowe Excellence in Forensics Award must be submitted to tournament director Jacob Justice (jacob.justice.debate@gmail.com) by Friday October 7, midnight CST.
TOURNAMENT POLICIES THAT DIFFER FROM INVITE
Updates about tournament policies that slightly differ from the invite:
Awards ceremony: We will have a traditional in-person awards ceremony this year, rather than the virtual version we did last year.
Entry limits: Schools may register up to 6 entries in debate events and up to 10 entries in speech events. The invite originally stated 5 in debate and 7 in speech.
Penalty fees: Debate entries uncovered by a judge will result in a $25 fee. Speech entries uncovered by a judge will result in a $20 fee. Judges that miss rounds will result in a $20 fee (per round) charged to their school.
