Welcome to the Tennessee Valley One Day Novice and JV Tournament (ONLINE).

This event is being co-hosted by Montgomery Bell Academy and the University School of Nashville.

We will be using the GFCA (Georgia Forensics Coaches Association) novice packet in the novice division.  The link to the packet is here: http://www.gaspeechanddebate.org/novice

The JV division won't have constraints on what can and can't be run.

A novice is defined as someone who is competing in high school debate for the first time in the 2022-23 school year. A JV debater is defined as someone who is competing in their first or second year of high school debate.  

The tournament will have THREE rounds.  The cost per entry is $30.  If you need to hire a judge, it will be $100 per judge.

Pairings will come out 30 minutes prior to the round.

Round 1 Start time: 8:00 AM CST
Round 2 Start time: 10:00 AM CST
Round 3 Start time: 1:00 PM CST
