You are cordially invited to attend the Plano Senior-Clark Swing 2022, hosted by the Plano Senior and Clark High School Speech Teams. We are excited that we will be coming together in person again.  We are committed to providing you a quality in person tournament experience. This is an opportunity for your team to compete and earn Texas Forensic Association qualifying points for the TFA State Tournament and NIETOC bids.  This event will take place on August 26 and 27 on the Plano Senior Campus (2200 Independence Parkway, Plano, TX 75075).  We are offering in Debate (CX, LD, PF, WS, CD) and in Individual Events (IX, USX, INFO, OO, HI, DI, POI, PR, POE Duo).   Individual Events will have the ability to enter both sides of the swing.  Debate events will on be offered a combined debate experience with 4 prelim rounds with all events breaking to quarter-finals or higher if entry numbers necessitate.

Judge requirements:

CX/WS-1 judge per two teams (1^st judge required by entering school)

LD/PF-1 judge per two teams (1^st judge required by entering school)

CD-1 judge per 5 entries (1^st judge required by entering school)

I.E’s-1 judge per five entries (1^st judge required by entering school)

Please read all tournament information carefully for a full breakdown of events that can be entered, deadlines, and a tournament schedule. We understand that this is still very much new territory for all of us and there will be questions. We want to help you feel supported throughout this experience.
