Region 2-5A,

We are excited to host you for our 7th consecutive year of hosting Region 2-5A. It is our hope that this website will provide you with all of the information that you need to ensure that the experience that your students and coaches have at UIL Regional Competition is a great one.

It is important to remember that this is about education first; thus, it is important that all coaches, sponsors, guests, and administrators are positive and encouraging to all students in word and deed. Our goal is to provide an environment that leaves students feeling positive about the experience and their performance REGARDLESS of the outcome.

It is our goal to run the contests "by the book" which may be a delineation from contests that schools experience at invitationals or even at district. Should you have any questions about how something is run in a contest, please come see me so we can ensure that we are on the same page with what the UIL rules and expectations are and that we are following them in the room and in grading/judging.
