7:00 – 7:30am        Registration in HHS PAC

7:30                         General Meeting

8:00 – 9:15              Round 1 All Events

9:30 – 10:45            Round 2 All Events

11:00– 12:15           Round 3 All Events  

12:45 (or ASAP)     Awards in HHS PAC                               

Events and entries

Schools may have an unlimited number of entries in each of our seven (7) divisions:  Humorous Interp, Storytelling, Duo Interp, Dramatic Interp, Non-Original Oratory, and Poetry. To keep the tournament running in a timely manner, students may be entered in NO MORE THAN two events.

South Dakota High School Activity Association rules will govern this contest.

Please register your entries online by Wednesday, October 5 at 11:55 PM

Fees

Entry fees for the contest will be $5 per contestant per individual events, and $10 per duo entry.  Fees will be assessed based on the entries received by 11:55pm on Wednesday, October 5, 2021.  Fees must be paid on or before registration, and checks can be made out to Harrisburg High School Speech & Debate.

Judges

Each school must provide one judge for every 5 students or fraction thereof.

We have a VERY SMALL NUMBER OF JUDGES FOR HIRE this year.. Hired judges will cost $80.
