Campus Instructions

For those that have never used the NSDA Campus system, here is a quick starter guide. This can be used if you are a judge or a student.

When you get a blast, log into your tabroom account. If you do not remember your password for tabroom, please reset this. Tab does not that ability. The reset button is in the login screen for tabroom.

Once you have logged in, you will see the round that you were assigned. There will be a blue button that looks like a camera. Click on this. It will take you to your debate room. The program that is used is an embed and will load in the webpage. The program is Jitsi. It has all a chat and file share function.

It is strongly recommended that you use a Windows or a Mac based PC for this. Mobile devices can have trouble connecting to Jitsi. Also, it is strongly recommended that you use Chrome as your browser. If you have trouble connecting and you are not using Chrome, try Chrome.

If you have issues, please contact Campus help using the submission option on the right-hand side of the Campus room you are set to debate in. Tab and the Help Desk can do minimal management of issues but connection or major tech issues must be resolved by Campus help at the NSDA. If you have issues, please come to the help desk using the link on the tournament main page.

INDEPENDENT ENTRIES ARE ACCEPTED AS LONG AS STUDENTS DO NOT HAVE THE OPTION OF DEBATING ON TEAMS AT THEIR SCHOOL AT THIS TOURNAMENT.
