This tournament is open primarily to high school students.  Middle schools students may compete, but they must compete against high school students using high school rules and events.
Sorry, due to time and space constraints, we do not allow double entry.
EVENTS:  All MIFA individual events (including 9/10 categories)

IMPROMPTU: The impromptu theme will be "Luck"

COST:  Each individual entry is $10 with a school minimum of $50 (if you register fewer than 5 students, you will still be charged $50).  Duo entries are $12 each, entries in multiple are $15 each.
THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MONDAY,MARCH 14th at 11:59 pm.
Register on Tabroom http://frankenmuth.tabroom.com
Fees and judging commitments are frozen at that time and any drops/adds after that time will be charged an additional $5.00 drop/add fee.  Drops and adds on the day of the tournament will incur a additional $10 fee.  Please enter as soon as you can, as space is limited.
Dropping contestants after the deadline DOES NOT relieve you of required judges!
Contestants may only be added after the deadline if space and schematic arrangement permit.
JUDGES:  You are responsible for providing one qualified judge for every 5 contestants or fraction thereof.  These judges must be available for the entire day, which could include five rounds.  Multiples and duos count as two entries for judging responsibilities.  Judge obligations include final rounds.
AWARDS:  At this time, due to limited registrations, we plan to award top sweepstakes schools with trophies, and top students in each event with a certificate.  If registration jumps significantly, we may be able to offer individual speaker trophies.  Sorry for this break from tradition, but we have to remain somewhat fiscally responsible.
Covid Information (this info is subject to change):
It is our desire to have a safe, in-person tournament.
We believe our tournament will be small enough to easily provide for social distancing; however, we reserve the right to limit spectators if necessary.  At this time, we plan to utilize our cafeteria for eating, but we have not made our final decision regarding concession stand offerings.  We may offer a pre-ordered lunch instead of a typical concession stand.  We will provide food for judges.
At this time, masks will NOT be required by the host school for students or judges.  Students and judges are advised to use their own discretion and no competitors will be penalized for their mask-wearing choices.
