The  27th  Annual

The Shrewsbury High School Speech & Debate Team cordially invites you to

the 27th annual Mardi Gras Speech Carnivale, to be held at Shrewsbury High School,

64 Holden Street, Shrewsbury, Massachusetts on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

This tournament is sanctioned by the MSDL as a state-qualifier.

We are excited to return to an in-person Mardi Gras after a pandemic induced hiatus.  The MSDL has determined that a mask requirement will remain in place for those attending the tournament.  This includes when presenting.  However, please know that there is a chance the Shrewsbury schools mandate is lifted before our tournament.  Should that happen, we will continue to require our guests to wear masks but take note that we will be unable to require others in the building to do the same (custodians, kitchen staff and others unaffiliated with our league and the tournament).  See attached full invitation for additional details.
