Welcome to the fifth annual McCool Junction Speech Invitational on February 26, 2022!  Time to sign up your team.  This meet will be in person, with limited spectators if Covid protocols call for it at that time.  This is a week earlier than normal due to the moving up of district speech to our normal weekend.  (Same as last year)

• PLEASE ENTER THROUGH OUR NORTH GYM DOOR!!!!!

• February 26, 2022: Registration begins at 7:15 A.M. and events will begin at 8:00 A.M.

• Registration will take place on the north side of the high school where you enter the gym.

• Two preliminary rounds and finals contest.

• Varsity divisions only. No novice division, so novice will compete against varsity.

• Students may triple enter. 

• Medals will be awarded to the top six finishers in varsity. 

• We will try to have two judges in all finals. Until our numbers are firm, this is an unknown.

• The entry deadline is February 22, 2022.

• Fees: seven dollars per entry.

• Final fees will be assessed on Wednesday, February 23. Any drops after that will still accrue a fee.

• Provide one judge per six entries or pay an additional $75.00 per each six entries or fraction thereof not covered by a judge. Please bring helpful, informed, conscientious if not certified judges. e.g. 6 entries one judge, 7 entries two judges

• A map of the contest site will be available on the above website. Please take time to look this over, as it is important.

The main gym accessed from the north side of our complex will serve as the home room for the day. There will be a fully stocked concession stand in the lunch room that is connected to the gym.  Please plan to use this as it is our main fundraiser for our program.  Please only personal music devices in any area of the school so that we do not have a battle of the bands.

Coaches, judges, and bus drivers will be provided with a well stocked hospitality area on our stage behind the curtain. We will have signs and staff available to help you find your way around.
