If you register and have not contacted the tournament director your entries will be deleted.

Dear Coach,

     I’m excited to invite you to the annual Doniphan-Trumbull Cardinal Speech Invite on January 15, 2021 in Doniphan. The deadline for registration is January 9th on You will be responsible for fees for any drops after that date. After that date, we can not accept any adds.

    If you’ve attended our meet in the past, we are structuring it a little differently due to the change in date. We will now be awarding medals to both Varsity and Novice performers. Although they will be combined for speaking, awards will be given for each division. We will place 1-6 in Varsity and 1-3 in Novice. 

   The tournament will be composed of three rounds of the nine NSAA events. Students are asked to not participate in more than three events and only two events if they’re in extemp. We will not be acknowledging team standings this year.


Registration will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:40 a.m.

 Coaches meeting in the hospitality room at 7:45.

 Flight A: First Round 8:00 Second Round 10:30 Third Round 1:00

 Flight B: First Round 9:15 Second Round 11:45 Third Round at 2:15

 First Round Extemp draw at 8:15 a.m.


 Extemp prep will be one hour.


 The entry fee will be the standard $7.00 per entry. Fees will be assessed on the final day of registration, not the day of the contest. There will be no refunds for entries dropped after registration deadline.

High quality, knowledgeable judges must be provided for every 6 entries by the participating schools or a $75.00 fee will be charged for each judge needed. Please provide experienced and educated judges in order to give the most benefit to the students.


 Concessions will be available throughout the day as well as a hospitality room for judges,

 coaches and bus drivers.
