The tournament is open to all schools that have participated in any of the OPL tournaments during the season. In addition, students who wish to participate must have attended at least one of the regular OPL events during the season. (We are flexible if you wish for some sort of exception. We want kids to debate.) No other qualifications are required.

Our goal is to run our 3 regular divisions if numbers warrant. Optimally, we will run 5 prelim rounds, followed by a suitable number of elimination rounds to break as many teams with winning records as possible. Trophies will be awarded to teams reaching elims. We are assuming that we will be able to continue offering our ongoing registration fee of $5.

Please note that this event will be running simultaneous with the New York State Forensic League finals.
