National Qualifiers 2022

Speech & Congress:

Saturday, February 12 @ Morgan High School

Speech Schedule:

Round 1: 8:00-10:00

Round 2: 10:00-11:30

Round 3: 11:30-1:00

Elim 1: 1:30-3:00

Elim 2: 3:00-4:30

Congress Schedule:

Session 1: 8:30-11:30

Session 2: 12:00-3:00

We will expedite rounds wherever possible to speed up the tournament. 

Speech Elim rounds: Top 25% (or a minimum of 4) break in any event with more than 7 competitors

Congress Elims: The Senate will have 2 sessions and cumulative ranks will determine qualifiers.

The House will have 1 session and a final round. Top half will break to finals.

Round 1: 3:30-5:30

Round 2: 5:30-7:30

Round 3: 7:30-9:30

Saturday: 

Round 4: 8:00-10:00

Elim 1: 10:30-12:30

Elim 2: 12:30-2:30

Debate Elims: All winning records (3-1) will break. 

Students: Nominate your coach or your teammates for district recognition awards! If you think your coach should be Coach of the Year or that one of your teammates should be Student of the Year, send me a nomination at schamberlain@dsdmail.net. Give me their name and tell me why you think they deserve it.
