UIL ESC 11 Congressional Debate

2021 — Region 11 Service Center, TX/US

The ESC 11 Congressional Debate tournament will be held on November 8, 2021. Teams are expected to register via both Tabroom.com AND the UIL Entry System. The registration deadline is 5:00 PM on November 1, 2021.

The cost of entry into this tournament is $250.00 per school. Any leftover funds from the meet will be reimbursed to participating schools at the conclusion of the tournament. Checks can be made out to:

Schools are not obligated to provide a judge for this tournament. Judging contracts are available for interested parties. Contracts are for $100 per session. Interested parties can contact Julian Erdmann at julian.t.erdmann@gmail.com for a contract.

The tournament will be held in person at the ESC 11 Building - 1451 South Cherry Lane, White Settlement, TX 76108.

All participating competitors and judges must have an account on Tabroom.com. Additionally, their account must be synced to their school. This is CRUCIAL to help the meet run.

The schedule of the day is as follows: 

9:00 - 12:30 - Morning Session/Prelims

1:30 - 5:00 - Afternoon Session/Finals

Awards will be given for the 1-6 finishers in each conference. Awards will be distributed at the conclusion of the tournament.

The 2021 UIL ESC 11 Congressional Debate Committee is made up of Cassie Woods (Lindsay HS - 2A), Michael Donaldson (Grandview HS - 3A), Jessica Reynolds (Argyle HS - 4A), and Angela Furtick (Joshua HS - 5A).
