Hey y'all,

The rumor is true.....HE'S BAAAAAAAACKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!

 And I am so happy to be home in Houston and am overwhelmed with excitement to once again be hosting a high school speech and debate tournament in Texas.  I am partnering with Ashley Freeman who is the new Director of Speech and Debate at Alief Early College HS to bring you the RAM-KNIGHT TFA SWING on September 9-11.  This tournament will be hosted completely online using the NSDA Campus platform.  

We can't wait to see you all. Come kick off the new season with a double NIETOC qualifying weekend and a full slate of TFA debate events.  We will offer a variety of novice events as well for all of those newcomers.  Come on out and have some fun with us.  We hope to see you soon.  For all the important stuff, please go to the "Invitation & Tournament Info" page.  

In light of the decision of the EC to punish students who compete asynchronously in any way, we have decided to go completely synchronous for all events.  That means we will NOT have asynch speech events on Wednesday and Thursday.  Instead we will run both RAM and KNIGHT prelims round 1 at 4pm on Thursday.  We will then run both RAM and KNIGHT prelims round 2 at 6:30pm on Thursday.  The rest of the schedule remains as originally published.
