Dear Colleagues,
The LC Anderson High School Speech and Debate Team, Booster Club, coaching staff, and Senior Leadership cordially invite you to Virtual Austin for this year’s Trojan Classic at LC Anderson High School. Please join us online from Thursday, September 23 to Saturday, September 25th for a weekend of fun and fierce competition. The Anderson Speech & Debate Team and our wonderful Boosters take pride in providing excellent judging and a welcoming atmosphere at the Classic, and this season is no exception. We again look forward to providing an educational, equitable, and competitive atmosphere.
Some exciting aspects to our tournament include:
- Individual Events (Interp, Oratory, and Informative) will be held SYNCHRONOUSLY via our online competition site.
- Debaters have the ability to cross-enter
- $10 IE fees
- We will use the September-October Varsity LD topic for Novice LD
- Novice Public Forum and Novice Policy Debate
- World Schools Debate
We are offering the following TFA Qualifying Events:
Policy Debate Lincoln-Douglas Debate
Public Forum Debate Congressional Debate
International Extemp United States Extemp
Original Oratory Humorous Interpretation
Dramatic Interpretation World Schools Debate
Duet Acting/Duo Program Oral Interpretation
We will also offer the following non-qualifying events:
Poetry & Prose Novice Public Forum Debate
Novice Policy Debate Novice Lincoln-Douglas Debate
Novice Extemp
Competition rooms will be hosted by NSDA Campus at https://www.speechanddebate.org/nsda-campus/. Links to competition rooms and ballots will be accessible for competitors and judges via this website.
Congressional Debate will use TFA Fall Resolutions 16-20 for prelims and 21-25 for finals. A link to the TFA Fall Docket can be found at

World Schools Debate Resolutions: Round 1: This House would not support US military intervention in the Taiwan Strait.
Round 2: Impromptu Motion
Round 3: This House would expand the size of the US House of Representatives.
Semifinals: This House would ban unpaid internships.
Finals: Impromptu Motion
