You are cordially invited to The Meadows School’s Invitational Tournament, Saturday October 30^th -Monday November 1^st. We will provide competition in Varsity, JV and Novice Policy and Lincoln Douglas on the 2021 Water Policy topic for policy and the Sept/Oct 2021 intellectual property for LD.

Our tournament will be On-Line again this year. We will be using the NSDA Campus Platform to host the tournament. There is no entry deadline – we will accept entrants until we are full. Registration will open on Monday, August 16^th at 12:00 Noon, PST. Fees will be frozen on Mon Oct 18^th; entries that drop after that time will still be obligated to pay entry fees.

We will be holding three divisions – Open, JV, and Novice – in both LD and Policy. Please utilize all divisions - if you have more than Five entries in a division, the rest will be placed on a Waiting List.

Both varsity divisions will consist of six preliminary debates. Power matching will be based on Wins, High Low Points + Opponents Wins, Total Points and Judge Variance. Rounds Three through Six will be matched High Low within brackets. (These are subject to change due to technology consultation). Varsity LD will break to double octofinals, and Varsity Policy will break to Octofinals.

Novice and JV divisions in LD will have four preliminary debates on Saturday with appropriate semis and finals on Sunday

Novice and JV divisions in Policy will have four preliminary debates on Saturday and Sunday, with Gold, Silver, and Bronze elimination brackets on Sunday.

Lincoln Douglas will be single flighted. This seems to be the consensus of the community, unfortunately. Doubles and Octos may be double flighted.

All entries will be placed on the waiting list initially. To get off the waitlist, please send your entry fees. Our business office is NOT equipped to accept online payments – please mail a check.

Novice Policy will be limited to the NDCA Packet.
