COVID-19 & Technology: 

• We follow all guidelines concerning virtual competition set forth by the WDCA. 

• Should there be late decision making, we will contact coaches via the phone number provided in tabroom

Divisions: Varsity Policy, Novice Policy, JVLD, JVPF, VLD, and VPF. Novice refers to a first-year competitor, JV to a first or second-year competitor.

Resolutions: We shall follow current resolutions presented by the National Speech & Debate Association. 

Judge Requirements: One judge per two entries or any fraction thereof (one team would still need to provide a judge). LD and PF judging pools will not be mixed if we can avoid it. PLEASE have your judges enter a paradigm! It makes everyone's lives a little easier.

Tentative Schedule: 

• 7:30am: Online confirmation of entries on Tabroom

• 8:00-8:15: Morning meeting via Zoom; link sent out on Friday 10/15
• 8:15: Rounds commence, with each to follow as swiftly as the gods allow. Note that we offer 5 rounds of PF and LD and 3 of policy.
• Lunch: We will do our best to work in a reasonable lunch break after round 4 for LD & PF, and after round 2 for policy (but you should snack when it's convenient for you!).
• Awards: We hope to start awards at 3pm. The buffer between the last round and awards is designed to account for delays we encounter throughout the day.

Awards: We will have trophies or medals this year.

Fees: 

• VCX/NCX/PF: $25 per entry. LD: $15 per entry.

• Fees are locked as of Wednesday October 13th, 2021 at 5pm, plus any fees from adding teams or missing judges. 

• If you do not bring the required amount of judges, we reserve the right to either charge you $125 per missing judge or unregister your teams until you have presented enough judges to cover your obligation.
