Friday and Saturday, March 5-6, 2021

Schedule:
Friday, March 5th
3:30PM: Zoom check-in and caucusing
4:00PM—6:00PM: Prelim Round One
Saturday, March 6th
8:45AM: Zoom check-in
9:00AM-11:00AM: Prelim Round Two
1:00PM-4:00PM: Finals
5:00PM- Awards
Judges:
All NMSDA member schools shall recruit unaffiliated judges and/or parliamentarians. All judges must be linked in Tabroom and added to the judging pool in Tabroom.
Registration:
Deadline: Monday, March 1st , at 7:00 pm.

Maximum entries: Six students per school in varsity (open); and four students per school in novice.
Novice is defined as a student never having competed in speech, debate, or congressional debate before the current year.
If you have chamber preferences for your students please email them to bill.torres@cottonwoodclassical.org . Please give preferences for 2, 3, or 4 chambers.
Registration must include the NMAA eligibility form.
Name changes will be accepted through March 3rd.
Note: if either of these divisions has fewer than 15 participants, or if either of these divisions has representation from fewer than three schools, the divisions will collapse into a single division.

Fees:
$8.00 entry fee per student.
If a student drops from the tournament, they will be charged $8.00.
Dues and fees must be sent ahead of time to Margo.
Legislation:
Deadline to submit: Sunday, February 28th at 5:00 pm.
Docket will be emailed to schools by Monday, March 1st
Maximum submission: Two pieces of legislation per school. Frivolous or poorly formatted legislation will be refused.
